The Urinals of Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree is located at the junction of the Mojave and Colorado Deserts in Southern California.

These fixtures were found at the North Entrance Station. The station is staffed by park rangers who provide useful information on visiting the park.

These waterless urinals are located at the West Entrance of the park, right outside of Joshua Tree, CA. Water is scarce in the desert, so these urinals do not flush.
