He writes: "The Old Bridge Inn is a pub built in 1710 where the main street of the largely Victorian Scottish town called Bridge of Allan crosses the river called Allan Water. The atmosphere is friendly and food can be recommended. The urinals can just about accommodate four patrons standing shoulder to shoulder."
