He writes: "The Old Port Tavern is located in the historic Old Port section of downtown Portland; the building is the former Mariner's Church which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The chalkboard located above the urinal, which appears to be a local custom, offered the perfect opportunity to spread the word about the site!"
