Glarner Stube, which, translated from German, means "New Glarus Home", is famous for more than just "a fine pot of melted cheese". The proprietors also distribute postcards featuring the image above. The back of the card reads: "Don't be intimidated! Step right up to 'The Biggest Urinal in the Midwest,' located at the Glarner Stube, 'The Midwest's Best Restraunt,' in New Glarus, WI, 'America's Little Switzerland'...(Don't Miss It!)".

The image is being reproduced with express oral permission of the proprietors of Glarner Stube. The validity of the claims presented on the postcard regarding either the size of this fixture compared to others in the Midwest, or whether better restaurants exist in this region of the United States, could not be accurately verified.
