I-87 starts its journey on the Canadaian border in Champlain, NY. From there it goes south past the fixtures pictures above, terminating in New York City in the borough of the Bronx. I-87 is, what is known as, an intrastate interstate highway, since it does not leave New York State at any point along its 346 mile route.
