BLB sent in these photos. He writes: "These two photos were taken from the 3rd level the the GUM department store, located off Red Square. GUM was THE MAIN shopping place during the Soviet era. Now, it is home to many expensive European boutiques. This restroom, or WC, is free and is located in the food court area".
GUM is an abbreviation that stands for "Universal State Store".
