The Tommy Knockers are little creatures that were said to be found living in the mines. They were said to resemble little bearded men with colorful shirts. Some of them were mischeivous, while others, as the legend goes, would help the miners locate the areas of richer ore deposits. Today, Tommy Knocker brews a variety of beers in the center of the old mining community of Idaho Springs.
